A collection of Hennessy cognac, the oldest of which dates back to 1830, was approved for sale at retail stores. Until now, Old Liquors is the only company having obtained TTB approval for rare, vintage bottles of cognac.
A request for label approval must be submitted to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). An application will only be processed on the basis of a Certificate of Origin that confirms the age and origin of the cognac. It is also necessary to have an importer license and a wholesale license. These are import licenses that are only issued to U.S. companies. Old Liquors Inc., our sister company in Florida is therefore responsible for the process. The TTB maintains a public database where all approved bottle labels can be retrieved. Try it here yourself! For [Product Name], enter Old Liquors and see the labels that have been approved.
